Your Suddenly is coming

God has it all planned out – a plan for a future for you that is everything you hoped for (Jer 29:11-13). He has ordained your days ahead of time – He is so good that He has thought them out and planned them for you. And in those days are ‘suddenlies’ – unexpected promotions, blessings, changes of direction that will catapult you suddenly to a new place, a place you’ve dreamed about, possibly many years before.

Think of Moses and the burning bush – suddenly, from being in exile, he was commissioned into service by God to lead God’s people. Think of Joseph, after years in prison, suddenly released and promoted when Pharaoh needed an interpretation for his dream. Think of Mary, a young girl, suddenly becoming pregnant, the mother-to-be of the baby who would be Saviour of the world.

So today, keep your eyes on God and hold on to the dreams He has planted in your heart. Know that suddenly, you too will find yourself in a different place. God’s favor will open a door, bring a divine circumstance or change your direction – in a way you could never have engineered yourself. He has good things stored up for you – and you will suddenly see them become a reality. Trust Him and thank Him for favour, divine connections and sudden divine ‘moments’ in your life.

And get ready for your ‘suddenly’.
